( ) The new 2013 Ram 1500 ST Crew Cab is a big, and beefy pickup built to haul a bed full of stuff and up to six people, while towing over 6000 pounds. In fact this pickup with the smaller 3.6L Pentastar has a towing capacity of 6400 pounds. But what does that mean in the real world where the tires hit the road. We decided to find out by putting the Infiniti QX56 to the TFLcar towing test. We hooked up a 6000 pound boat to the back of the 2013 Ram 1500 pickup to see how fast it would accelerate from 0-60 MPH @ 1 mile above sea level towing a ski boat.
