Welcome to another truck hardware installation tutorial today we’re installing our custom no body drill gator back mud flaps on a 2021 chevrolet trailblazer these mud flaps are a great way to protect and improve the overall look of your vehicle remember this video is to be used as a companion to the included insulation instructions with that out of the way let’s

Get started on the rear of the vehicle to start remove the two factory screws located on the inside of your wheel well we will begin installing our mud flap onto the vehicle attach the middle hole of the mud flap using a sheet metal screw and offset washer when attaching this part of the flap first put a nylon washer on the back of the hardware as shown repeat

This process for the upper hole please note that in this video we are installing the top hole of the mud flap using the second hole on the offset washer this is not required due to some differences in the manufacturing process not all vehicles are exactly the same so you may need to use the second hole in the offset washer to apply proper pressure onto the top of

The mud flap as shown here however normally you should be able to use the center hole of the washer with a square or other leveling tool make sure the mud flap is level we also recommend you take a step back and visually gauge the mud flap to check that it is aligned correctly once your flap is level secure all fasteners with the mud flap leveled use a quarter

Inch drill to drill through the hole on the ear of your mud flap and into the fender liner as shown with the hole drilled slide your mud flaps ear behind the fender liner as shown lining it up with the hole you just drilled once in position secure this part of the flap by placing a machine screw and flat washer through the front of the mud flap and secure it

Behind the liner using a flat washer lock washer and hex nut this hardware can be seen fully installed in the following clip congratulations you’ve just finished installing your gator back front mud flaps next we’ll move on to the rear of the vehicle to start remove the two factory screws located on the inside of your wheel well now we will begin installing our

Mud flap onto the vehicle attach the middle hold the mud flap using a sheet metal screw and offset washer when attaching this part of the flap you’ll need to place a flat washer and nylon spacer on the back of the hardware as shown as you attach the flap take a moment to position the mud flap’s ear behind the fender liner as seen here repeat this process for the

Top hole of the mud flap when installing the offset washer into this hole make sure you utilize the second hole on the offset washer and position it upwards as shown here with a square or other leveling tool make sure the mud flap is level we also recommend you take a step back and visually gauge the mud flap to check that it is aligned correctly once your flap

Is level secure all fasteners with the mud flap leveled use a quarter inch drill bit to drill through the interior hole on your mud flap and into the fender liner as shown secure this part of the flap by placing a supplied screw and flat washer through the front of the mud flap and secure it in the rear using a flat washer lock washer and nut the hardware
