In this video from the 2022 Detroit Autorama held in Detroit MI, I check out the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Cutaway Car…The C8 Corvette has made a grand entrance into the History of the Chevrolet Corvette…As I discovered on My visit to the National Corvette Museum…Zora Duntov was pushing the Mid Engine design from His first day at Chevrolet…Zora never was able to see His dream make it to market…But all the rumors were put to bed in 2020 when the C8 Mid Engine Chevrolet Corvette went on sale to the general public….I have to be honest….I had heard about a Mid Engine Corvette for so long…That I had given up, So when they did finally hit the market…I wasn’t a big fan and I would still have no problem with having a C7…Or even a C6….and would have no desire to trade. I have been able to spend a little time around the new C8…I have warmed up to them as they say…I don’t dream of owning one…But I sure would drive one if I had to…lol…In this video from the 2022 Detroit Autorama I have a Cutaway version of the C8 Chevrolet Corvette…I thought it was very cool to see what’s under the slick skin of the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette, I think You will too……The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Cutaway from the 2022 Detroit Autorama…Check it out!!!

Hey y’all coming to you from the international headquarters scotty d tv but i was at the 2022 detroit autorama and chevrolet had a cutaway of the c8 corvette i thought y’all would like to see let me get the camera turn around we’ll take a quick look at it i have uh the c8 corvette has really grown on me when it first came out i was like yeah you know i don’t see

It it’s not a corvette any i think part of that is as a child every generation was going to be a mid-engine corvette and i just given up on it as a kid yeah we look forward to it oh yeah the next one the next one the next one and you know it’s one of those things like you can only ask for a puppy for so many years for christmas until you just give up on getting

It and then if it shows up it’s like yeah well a puppy was a bad example because you’re always going to love a puppy but you know what i’m trying to say anyways now they’ve grown on me and and i’m a big fan of cutaways because i always say i don’t know anything besides cool and for me to be able to see how something’s really built up underneath the skin or how

It works i love cutaway engines i’ve shot several coat-away videos and rolled into detroit 2022 autorama and there was the c8 cutaway corvette and i could not believe my luck i was like man what a day and the thing the other thing that really jumps out at me is how simple it is you know when you take all the wires and all the computers out of it and you just

Have the structure now i realize that every tuck and every fold and every piece has got a purpose and it’s there by design so it’s all in the details but it looks pretty you know i mean when you just get the structure of a corvette it i mean it’s a pretty simple chassis i guess but the chassis and the body and all is you know well the body is over the chassis

But the chassis you know what i’m saying the substructure the structure is uh they call it the bird cage it’s all one with the chassis now and it’s all aluminum and it all looks light but again it’s all in the details every single one of those folds every single one of those bends they all serve a purpose for strength or access room for something that’s going

To go there i mean the details on something like a modern day car like this is just insane things get pretty complex right there though flat plane motor engine all that suspension work and i couldn’t see i shot the new z06 when they unveiled it out at sema the convertible and the coupe and i couldn’t see where the convertible top went to and i’m still don’t see

Where the convertible top goes to it’s not a clock top it’s a hard panel top so i guess it must fold up and slide down in there somewhere but against tolerance and just no room and i’ve i’ve come to the point now where i would love to drive one i’d love to ride in one they get with the corvette museum and see if they can’t hook me up take us all for a ride

One that’d be cool and get one of their uh drivers to take us on the test track in the new c8 06 once you get over their facebook page and encourage them to invite me in to do that maybe have enough people show up then they’ll call me and go like scotty come back and take a ride in the c8 oh i guess i can i’ll bring my camera with me now i thought this the

2022 c8 corvette cutaway was something you all would want to see i can’t have been out that long it was i don’t i i mean like i said i shot chevrolet stuff out in sema this year they didn’t have it there so this may be something that was out for its first show i don’t know i wouldn’t swear that i’d like to think it was that but i wouldn’t swear to that cool
